In 1976, Pan American Airways took delivery of its first 747SP. The airline had been the launch customer for the original 747, the 747-100. Eventually, 11 of the short-body -SP airframes were delivered to the airline in the blue cheatline livery. During their service with Pan Am, the individual Clipper names changed on several of the aircraft. This decal allows the modeling of any aircraft in the fleet in the delivery colors.
