Boston-based Northeast Airlines unveiled their Yellowbird image in 1966. This unique, bright scheme was used on the Northeast fleet of 14 DC-9-31s that were delivered new starting in 1967. Northeast was merged into Delta Air Lines in 1972, and the entire DC-9-31 fleet served Delta for many years after their merger. Our decal includes multiple options to letter most any variation of the Yellowbird DC-9-31 fleet.
