After 80 continual years of operating Douglas-built aircraft, KLM retired its last MD11 in November 2014. To commemorate the occasion, KLM operated three special fan flights on November 11th, 2014 as the grand finale. MD11 PH-KCD Florence Nightingale operated these flights and was marked with special KLMDOUGLAS AVIATION HISTORY markings which this set depicts. KLM actually marked two MD11s in these markings, PH-KCB Maria Montessori is also included in our decal.
