A-26C Invader 44-35898 was purchased by Lear Inc. in 1961 and was raced by John Lear in the 1968 Reno air races. The big Invader finished fifth in the consolation race at a speed of 283.68 mph. The aircraft was sold to Air Spray Ltd. of Red Deer, Alberta in 1971 and now resides in Australia.
