JALways, formerly Japan Air Charter operated charter and later scheduled flights to resort and vacation destinations. The aircraft were flown and staffed by contract crews flying Japan Airlines aircraft. Four 747-200s were among the aircraft operated, and they wore Resocha ( Resort Charter) titles with hibiscus flowers and Iiwi / Scarlet Honeycreeper bird markings. 747-200 JA8149 wore the same pink version of the Resocha scheme that was used on the 747-300s.
