Ted, Part of United, started service in 2004 and lasted until January 2009. Designed to compete in the low cost market, Ted operated a fleet of 57 A320s configured with 156 all economy class seats. The aircraft were all reconfigured and painted back into United mainline colors after United shut Ted down.
