This set includes single piece flaps and ailerons, and are designed to be direct replacements for the kit parts. Actuating hinges are attached, and provide a more beefier surface area to glue to the wing.
Also included are new cover plates that simply slide in between the top and bottom wing parts. All that is needed is to remove the two small tabs on the aft edge of the upper wing piece.
While most of our products come already removed from the supports, it was decided to leave these attached due to the delicate nature of the actuating hinges. To remove parts from the support, very gently bend the parts back and forth and they will separate from the supports. You can also use a sharp, fine tipped sprue cutter. We do NOT recommend using an X-acto blade, saw or any type of electric cutting tool.
